Antalya, Belek, Side or Lara: Which Resort Is Right for You?

Lara and Kundu

Just east of Antalya city, this area is lined with large, luxury all inclusive hotels with sandy beaches and big pool complexes. It is popular with families and couples who want a hotel-based holiday and a short transfer from the airport.

Belek

A purpose-built resort area known for golf courses, wide sandy beaches and upscale hotels in pine forest. Quieter than Antalya, it suits families and couples after a relaxed stay.

Side and Manavgat

Side combines resort hotels with Roman ruins and a small harbour town. It has gentle beaches and a good choice of family hotels at a range of prices.

Kemer and Alanya

Kemer sits between the sea and the Taurus mountains, with pebble and sand beaches and lots of outdoor activities. Alanya is livelier, with a castle, a long seafront and a wide choice of mid-range hotels.
