What makes a good family resort?
Look for shallow pools, a kids' club, a children's menu, a beach or pool with shade and family rooms that sleep three or four. Many Turkish resort hotels have water slides, mini discos and entertainment teams for children.

Where should families stay?
Antalya, Belek and Side have the largest family resort hotels, with long sandy beaches that are gentle for children. Icmeler near Marmaris is calm and well suited to young families, and Oludeniz near Fethiye has a sheltered lagoon beach.
Didim near Kusadasi is known for its shallow, sandy bays that are popular with families.
